Statement of Faith

We believe that there is one true God, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, perfect in all His ways, one in essence but eternally existing in three  Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 1:1, John 1:14, 1 John 5:6-8)

We believe that Jesus Christ is God, that He became man, yet without sin, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, that He was God's only Son, that He performed miracles, that He died on the cross as a subsitutional sacrifice for sin, that He arose from the dead according to the Scriptures, that He ascended into heaven where He is now at the right hand of God as our intercediing High Priest, and that He will return again to establish His kingdom. (Luke 1:35, Hebrews 9:14, 1 Peter 2:21-22)

We believe the Holy Spirit is God, sent to indwell, empower, counsel, and teach the believer. (Acts 2:1-4, John 14:26)

We believe the Bible is the inerrant and infallible Word of God, which is fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and of supreme and final authority in faith and  life. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Isaiah 55:11)

We believe in the fall of man: although originally created in the image of God, through the disobedience of Adam, incurred physical and spiritual death, and is born with a sinful nature, separated from God, and unable to justify himself before God. (Genesis 3, Isaiah 59:2)

We believe salvation is a free gift of God, by grace, not earned in any way by man, given through personal faith in Jesus Christ to all who repent of their sin and believe in Him, and that salvation is eternal and results in good works. (Acts 16:31, John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe God wonderfully and immutably created each person as male or female and that each person's gender is genetic and known at birth. These two distinct yet complementary genders, holding value and purpose, together reflect the image and nature of God. God is the giver of life, and all human life is sacred and to be protected. (Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 5:1-2)

We believe God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in Jesus Christ and that individual doctrinal differences, which may exist, should not hinder the unity of Christian home educators. (Ephesians 4:1-6)
